2MGs of Xanax
When a person is taking 2mg of Xanax – they had better watch out. Doctors are crazier than ever and handing out / upping dosages like there is no tomorrow. It actually took me a while finding out that my doctors really didn’t care. I’m sure some do, but when it comes to Xanax, doctors don’t know what they are dealing with – neither do their patients.
When a person is on 2mg Xanax, they have crossed the line. However, let me make one thing clear, it depends on if they are taking it per day or per dose. When a person is taking 2mg of Xanax per dosage several times a day – I would recommend that person find another doctor. There is no reason why any human being should be taking that much.
I was on 2mg Xanax that my doctor prescribed to me (this was per dose), and the Xanax would act very quickly (and effective) but within two or three hours – I was suffering from withdrawal symptoms. However, when I was on less of dosage, it wasn’t as bad. But something about 2mg – it was like a line that if you started taking it, you were in a world of hurt. Also, the more you took it throughout the day, the less effective the Xanax was.
How I beat getting off Xanax was going back to the doctor and he gave me Klonopin. What a difference. With Xanax I was up and down like a Junkie but with Klonopin, I felt more stable. After I started taking Klonopin, I slowly began my process of tapering off.
